Susan Burke, MD, FAAP
Dr. Burke is board certified and has been recognized as one of the "Top Docs" in the "Phoenix Magazine", "101 Magazine", and the "Ranking Arizona Annual Report", and as a "Best Doctor in America." She earned her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed her residency at Phoenix Children's Hospital/Maricopa Medical Center. She has been practicing in the valley since 1990. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.
 
 
AnneGarrett, MD, FAAP
Anne Garrett, MD, FAAP
Practicing in the valley since 1988, Dr. Garrett is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She has been recognized as a Phoenix "Top Doc" by Phoenix Magazine, "Ranking Arizona Annual Report”, Best Doctor in America and Top Pediatrician. She is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics for Midwestern University and the University of Arizona and mentors residents for Phoenix Children's Hospital. Dr. Garrett has served as the Chairman of Pediatrics for Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn,the school board president for Saint Theresa Catholic School and currently consults for the State of Arizona. She received both her undergraduate and medical degrees at Indiana University and trained at both Phoenix Children's Hospital and Oakland Children's Hospital. Dr. Garrett enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, traveling, and cooking for and with her husband, and three children.
 
 
ArturoGonzalez, MD, FAAP
Arturo Gonzalez, MD, FAAP
Dr. Gonzalez is board certified in Pediatrics, and has been practicing in Arizona since 1993. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. He completed his residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center/New York University Medical program where he was chief resident and was given the distinguished Mario Merlino, M.D. Award for most outstanding resident. He practices Pediatrics in a single specialty group practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has been involved with the AzAAP (Arizona American Academy of Pediatrics) chapter as the Medical Home Project co-chair, C.A.T.C.H Facilitator, Secretary, Vice-President and most recently as President elect of the chapter. He has been a community clinical preceptor for Phoenix Children’s Hospital from 2000-present. He is actively involved with Partnership for a Drug Free America. As of December 2008 he was appointed to Governor Napolitano's First Things First Board for a term that ends in 2011. He has been recognized as one of the “Top Docs” by “Ranking Arizona Annual Report”, “Best Doctors in America” , “101 magazine” and “Top Pediatricians” by the Consumers Research Council of America. He is married to a Pharmacist, and has three daughters, two of which are identical twins. He speaks fluent Spanish, enjoys traveling, deep sea fishing and most recently learning how to play the guitar. Dr. Gonzalez was recently featured on Sonoran Living; Medical Myths about Cold & Flu. NandiniKanagal, MD, FAAP
Nandini Kanagal, MD, FAAP
Dr. Kanagal is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has been practicing in Phoenix since 1993, treating newborns, children and adolescents. She received her pediatric training at Bangalore Medical College in India and Central Texas Medical Foundation in Austin. She has been recognized as one of the "Best Doctors in America" by Consumer Reports. She has also been recognized by "101 Magazine" as one of the Top Docs. She has been on multiple committees at Scottsdale Healthcare-Shea. She is fluent in many Indian languages. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.
 
 
KatherineLichtsinn, MD, FAAP
Katherine Lichtsinn, MD, FAAP
Dr. Katherine Lichtsinn, a board certified physician, has practiced in the valley for 26 years. Her undergraduate degree is from Purdue University where she was honored as most outstanding senior in biological sciences. Dr. Lichtsinn's medical degree is from Indiana University where she graduated in the Pediatric Seniors Honors Program. From 1982-1985 Dr. Lichtsinn completed her pediatric residency locally, affliated with Phoenix Children's Hospital. Her third year, she was president of the residency program and voted "Outstanding Resident of the Year". Since 1985, Dr. Lichtsinn has devoted her career locally in the Phoenix and Scottsdale areas. She feels greatly blessed to have been a part of many second generations of families. One of Dr. Lichtsinn's greatest passions is the prevention of obesity in children. She is currently on the Obesity Committee for the Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is also on the board of directors for the "WiL Power Challenge", a local non-profit organization for the improvement of the health of overweight children. Dr. Lichtsinn has been recognized multiple times with The Best Doctors in America, America's Top Pediatricians, Top Doctors in Arizona, Leading Physicians of the World and International Health Professional of the Year (2007). Dr. Lichtsinn's outside interests include kickboxing, circuit training, spinning, reading and cooking. She greatly enjoys her time with her husband and two adult children.
 
 
SatishNamjoshi, MD, FAAP
Satish Namjoshi, MD, FAAP
Dr. Namjoshi is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Phoenix. In addition, he is a preceptor for Phoenix Children's Hospital Pediatric Residency training program. He is a graduate of Kakatiya Medical College at Osamania University in Hyderabad, India. He completed his pediatric residency at St. Vincent's Medical center in New York. He has been practicing pediatrics since 1992 and has also been in the valley since 1992. He has been recognized as one of the "Best Doctors in America," and as one of "America's Top Pediatric Doctors of 2008," by the Consumer Research Council. He was given the 2010 "Patient's Choice" award for outstanding Pediatrician. He is an avid sports fan and also enjoys biking, exercising, cooking and spending time with his wife and two children. He served as Chairman of the Pediatric Committee at Scottsdale Healthcare-Shea and sits on the strategic Planning Committee of Scottsdale Healthcare.
